The Cove & Co. was born from one dog named Roo.

Like a lot of reactive and anxious dogs, Roo doesn’t thrive in chaotic environments. Busy dog parks, unpredictable interactions with unfamiliar dogs  instead of building confidence, they can create more stress. I realized there weren’t many spaces designed for dogs like her. Dogs that need patience.

Privacy. A slower introduction to water. A place where they can learn without fear.

As Roo gets older, I’ve also become more aware of the importance of protecting her joints, mobility, and overall comfort. Swimming offers low-impact movement that supports aging bodies, helps with stiffness and pain relief, and builds strength without putting stress on their hips and joints. But for dogs to truly benefit from that, they need to feel safe first.

That’s why The Cove was created differently.

Private swims. Calm energy. A controlled environment. No crowded place. No pressure. Just a space where dogs can build confidence at their own pace, whether they’re learning to swim for the very first time, working through anxiety, recovering physically, or simply enjoying movement in a way that feels good for their body.
